RAWk’n out is all about getting all the leafy greens into your system as possible!
There’s no better way to do it than to make and drink green juices on a daily basis. Not a fan of juices? Try green smoothies – or, if you’re like me and opt to listen to what your body is saying, alternate them each day. For quick details about the green juices and smoothies, check out this article.
Below is a video of what one typical green juice (of several) I make prepare at home. I don’t have any real recipes since the taste depends on the quality of the fruits and vegetables, plus I like to make being in the kitchen my “play” time – meaning, going with the flow and using whatever I have on hand. I tend to keep lots of fresh, dark leafy greens (kale, collard, swiss chard, spinach) and herbs (cilantro, parsley, mint) stocked in the fridge. Did you know cilantro is excellent for cleansing you body of heavy metals? That’s some heavy-duty, serious power!!
